Volunteer Role: Fundraiser

Role Overview:

Men Only IOW is seeking a dedicated, hardworking, and creative Fundraiser to drive funding efforts and secure financial support for our vital work.

Skills & Experience:

• Strong communication and persuasive writing skills

• Experience in fundraising, sales, or business development (preferred but not essential)

• Ability to research and identify potential funding opportunities

• Confidence in engaging with donors, sponsors, and community partners

• Developed creative thinking and problem-solving skills for developing fundraising campaigns

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and essential CRM tools

• Experience in event planning and coordination is a plus

• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet fundraising targets

• Passion for Men Only IOW’s mission and a proactive approach to securing funding

Key Responsibilities:

• Identifying and pursuing funding opportunities

• Creating and managing fundraising campaigns

• Writing compelling funding applications and proposals

• Building and maintaining relationships with donors and sponsors

• Organising fundraising events

• Managing fundraising communications
